Japanese retailer Beauty & Youth (of the United Arrows family) presents a desaturated take on the ASICS GEL-Kayano 14.

As with most collaborations from United Arrows, the goal is to create a wearable shoe which goes well with a multitude of outfits. To do this, the design features a largely grey palette accented with bright white hits. Within the greys are different tones and hues which give a surprising depth for a shoe which is essentially devoid of colour.

Textures play a big part as well, from the unique woven mesh to gloss, matte and metallic panels used throughout the design.
